Performance
The 2025 GMC Acadia is powered by a 2.5-liter inline turbocharged four-cylinder engine that can come through with 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque. Front-wheel drive is the standard setup and all-wheel drive is an available option on most trim levels. If you want an off-road variation, move up to the AT4 trim and you'll get an Active Torque control all-wheel drive system, extra ground clearance, the protection of underbody skid plates and a suspension system tuned for adventures in the wilderness.
The AT4 model also has a Terrain drive mode along with hill-descent control. Every new 2025 GMC Acadia can tow up to 5,000 pounds. The standard Trailering package includes a Class III hitch, a hitch view in the camera, heavy-duty cooling plus a seven-pin wiring harness.
